Hello, I’m Sophie Aroutcheff
I grew up in France in a very creative environment. My father designs and makes collectors toys, and he designed and built our family homes. My mother lived in Morocco, Senegal and India, and I was inspired by the beauty and style of those countries. I then embarked on a 12-year career in high-end fashion, which took me to Paris, London and Milan. I’ve been an agent for beautiful handmade bespoke fabrics for the interior design trade, and designed a collection of pashmina blankets with a Nepalese company. Throughout this journey of international cultural influences I’ve been surrounded by artists, who’ve shown me how personalisation, creativity and attention to detail can combine to achieve beautiful results.
Eventually settling in London where I raised my family, I’ve renovated three houses over the years - from first nest to new family to growing kids. So I know very well how stressful city family life can be, and how important it is to be well-organised and adapt to changing needs.
It was a natural next step for me to found Sophie’s Interiors in 2017; I really believe the spaces we live in affect our health, our relationships and much more. And I love that I get to use my passion, professional and personal experiences, cultural influences and creativity, to help others feel more in control, consume less and feel better.
“Sophie offers a unique and trustworthy service specifically tailored to your needs. I was very overwhelmed when I had to reorganise some spaces and she immediately was able to see the big picture and got a long lasting system in place. I can highly recommend her.”
